Day 48 - Zennor to St. Ives

The last strenuous section of the coast path completed today!!

Plenty of boulders to negotiate on this section of the path, sometimes it was all boulder and no path!

Parking at Zennor (next to the church), you have to walk about a quarter of a mile to get to the Coast path above Pendour Cove. The path towards St. Ives starts gently enough, as you walk out to Zennor Head, but then begins it's impression of a cross between a roller coaster and a Donkey Kong game, as boulders require some big steps, some clambering and even some jumping to get over / round!

Between Zennor and St. Ives, there is nothing except cliffs, not a single house is visible until you round Clodgy Point when St. Ives comes into view.

So, in all honesty there is little for me to say. The 11.6 miles I walked was very hard on the ankles and knees.

Tune of the day (thanks to Zoe Ball on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show) was Record Breakers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QFt1ZeDftk

So, here are the pictures from today, with Pendour Cove first, then St. Ives Head and Porthmoer Beach, then a selection of views from the cliff path.
